Preliminary Review: The project submittal indicates the intent to meet the requirements of this credit, stating that the CO2 concentrations within all naturally ventilated spaces will be monitored using interior sensors mounted in the occupied spaces between 3 feet and 6 feet above the floor. However, Appendix 3 scope information and documentation for other credits indicates that the building is intended to be both mechanically and naturally ventilated; and that the project is a cold, dark shell. In this case, credit requirements for both Option 1 and Option 2 must be required for all building tenants by a binding Tenant Lease/Sales agreement.
Technical Advice: Please provide a revised submittal template and Appendix 3 scope information to clarify whether the building is anticipated to be mechanically ventilated, naturally ventilated or both; and clarifies whether credit requirements will be met through the core and shell project or through a binding Tenant Lease/Sales agreement.

Final Review: A revised project submittal indicates the intent to meet the requirements of this credit through the implementation of multiple active educational components including comprehensive signage throughout the building, regularly offered tours, and a promotional video on the owner's website.
Preliminary Review: The project submittal indicated the intent to meet the requirements of this credit, stating that an education program will be developed. However, as described, the proposal intent and approach does not meet the credit requirements per posted CIR ruling dated 9/24/2001. To qualify for an ID credit a Green Education Program to must present the project's sustainable design practices to occupants and visitors to the facility with at least two actively educational components, including a comprehensive signage program which highlights the building's sustainable design features, a published brochure describing the project's design features and the LEED program, public tours, and posted website information. As described, the proposal only includes one qualifying effort (posted website information). The signage indicating that the building has achieved LEED certification, both at building entries and on tenant signage outside, is not educational if it does not provide information regarding the sustainable strategies incorporated in the building's design and construction.
Technical Advice: Please provide a revised Green Education program description which includes two components as specified in the referenced CIR.
